Vh1 to exclusively air the prestigious 2017 Billboard Music Awards for the Indian audience

Vh1, India's only 24-hour International entertainment channel, is all set to bring all the razzle dazzle from the world of music right to your TV screens with the exclusive telecast of the much awaited 2017 Billboard Music Awards on May 22^nd. As the biggest and the most popular names in music unite at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Indian viewers will get to watch their favorite artists receive awards for the most popular songs of the year, exclusively on Vh1. The 2017 Billboard Music Awards are scheduled to telecast Monday, May 22, 6:30 AM with a prime time repeat at 9PM, only on Vh1.

The Billboard Music Award is an honor given by Billboard, a publication and music popularity chart, covering the music business.

Adding some more glitz and glamour to an already exciting event, this year, the star-studded awards night will witness captivating performances by some of the most prolific musicians from the industry, such as Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons, Bruno Mars, John legend amongst others. Viewers are up for a delightful experience, as on the 20^th anniversary of the film Titanic, the bestselling Canadian songstress Celine Dion will melt hearts by taking us on a trip down memory lane with her classic hit My Heart will go on, which she will be performing LIVE.

As far as the awards are concerned, popular hitmakers, Drake and The Chainsmokers lead the nomination pack with 22 nods. Among these, Drake is competing for Top Artist, Top Male Artist and Top Billboard 200 Artist awards. The Chainsmokers are also vying for Top Artist, as well as Top Duo/Group and Top 100 Artist. Twenty One Pilots follow with 17 nominations, and Rihanna with 14. While the The Weeknd is competing in 13 categories and Queen Bey Beyonce is hoping for honours in 8. The evening will be hosted by Rapper Ludacris and High School Musical alum Vanessa Hudgens who is also known for her incredible singing talent.
