While most whizz by on our screens, there are some that force us to sit back and take notice – by their sheer creativity, presentation, theme, and message.

Asian Paints

Conceptualized by Ogilvy India, the ad is directed by renowned director, Manoj Pillai. The film picks the popular character Josettan from the last blockbuster campaign of 2016 on Ultima Protek, and the same is being played by the very talented Suraj Venjaramoodu. The Story opens with the fact that Josettan’s Beautiful House has become a point of attraction from across the world and he is hosting a CLASSROOM to share secret of his beautiful House is Fibre which gives complete protection against villal (cracks) and paayal (algae).

Red Chief featuring Vicky Kaushal

The commercial features a gutsy Vicky Kaushal tackling a couple of goons by tricking them into reaching the police station. Very smoothly, he tricks the goons while running, climbing, and jumping to show how these shoes are made for today’s fast lifestyle. The film therefore serves as a testimony of how tough and flexible these leather shoes from Red Chief are.

‘Tajurbe Ki Taaqat’ by MP Birla Cement

Conceptualised by Ogilvy Mumbai, film captures the journey of a family’s rise to success because of the secret ingredient that makes their Kachori (lentil puffs) unique and special. And how it has been passed through generations, likening it to the story of Samrat, the cement whose trust has been passed through generations because of its proven strength and quality. And just like the kachoris that haven’t lost their flavour, their house built with Samrat has only grown stronger.
