Video: The strategy behind Abundantia’s strong female-focus storytelling

Fresh after the success of Vidya Balan-starrer ‘Sherni’, Abundantia is looking to build on its line-up of strong stories. Abundantia has been backing incredible content, with a great deal of focus on female-first stories, reflecting in their films such as ‘Shakuntala Devi’, ‘Durgamati’, the recently released ‘Sherni’ and their upcoming film, ‘Chhori’. The studio has been churning out both series and films, and has an impressive line-up of content for 2021-22.

In this video interaction, Bijoya Ghosh engages with Vikram Malhotra, CEO of Abundantia, and Shikhaa Sharma, Production Head of the studio, to know more about their content strategy, to understand the expansion of OTT content across viewers amidst the pandemic and discuss the scope and future of digital content in the country.
