Vijay Television Awards launched, stars galore

Vijay TV started eighteen years ago to entertain Tamil audience now has widened its domain and has heartfelt viewers’ world wide.  And now its time to celebrate and felicitate the members of your favorite channel Vijay TV stars who have supported us through this journey.  Vijay TV a pioneer known for its flair for presentation now launched ‘Sunfeast Farmlite Vijay Television Awards powered by Karbonn Smart A5s’ that was held on 24 May 2014 at YMCA Nandanam, Chennai.

May 24 was a memorable evening when nearly ten thousand strong crowds cheered the entire Vijay TV popular faces.  29 categories including favourite junior male/female, favourite fiction/nonfiction comedian, best male/female dancer, supporting actor/actress, best actor/actress, best entertainer, best judge male/female, favourite anchor male/female, favourite show were rewarded to the deserving.  Aaajith received award from T.L. Maharajan, for favourite junior super singer.  Vishnu for favourite comedian for ‘Office’, Robo Shankar for favourite comedian non-fiction, Gabriella and Sathish for favourite dancer,   Sivakarthikeyan received award for ‘pride of Vijay tv’ from the entire team of Vijay TV anchors.

Sreeja Chandran and Mirchi Senthil of ‘Saravanan Meenakshi’ fame received award for favourite actors, Ma Ka Pa Anand for favourite entertainer, Karthik-Raji for favourite screen pair, Kuyili-Rajasekar received special jury award for ‘Saravanan Meenakshi’, Gopinath for favourite anchor – Neeya Nana, Divya Dharshini (DD) for favourite anchor, Sudha Chandran for favourite supporting actor and so on.

The Vijay Television Awards was hosted by Ma Ka Pa Anand, Bhavna, Ramya, Jegan, Robo Shanker, Erode Mahesh and Balaji.  Breathtaking performances including salsa, acrobatics and a flute enthralled the audience.  Super Singer’s adorable young boy Senthilnathan adopted by Vijay TV sang to a huge applause from the audience.  An array of stars including actors, directors, and technicians from the Film Industry graced the occasion.  Sivakarthikeyan was the chief guest of the show along with other stars like Simran, Radha, Ambika, Sangeetha, singer Chitra, directors Vetrimaran, Pandiaraj, P. Vasu, Yugi Sethu, Jayaprakash, Suresh, Power Star and many others.

This prestigious ‘Sunfeast Farmlite Vijay Television Awards powered by Karbonn Smart A5s’ will be telecast during second week of June 2014.
