Vikas Gupta quits MTV as the programming head

Vikas Gupta, Programming Head MTV India has now decided to move on. He had joined the company in January this year. Gupta is currently serving his notice period and will be with the channel till the end of January.

Though he denied commenting on his next move, he confirmed his decision to leave the organization. He is yet to decide as to when he will be joining the next organization.

He started his career as a trainee with Balaji Telefilms, then moved on to DJ’s Creative Unit as an associate creative head where he worked for four months. He went back to Balaji Telefilms for a successful stint as an associate creative director. Gupta also has his own production banner, A Lost Boy Productions. Prior to this MTV stint, he has produced shows like ‘Gumrah: End of Innocence’ for Channel V and ‘Yeh Hai Aashiqui’ for Bindass.
