Vishakha Mulye steps in as CEO for Aditya Birla Capital

Aditya Birla Capital's current CEO, Ajay Srinivasan, has stepped down, and Vishakha Mulye will take over as the company's next CEO on June 1, 2022. On April 23, the company made the disclosure in a regulatory filing.

"Ms. Mulye will join the Company on June 1, 2022, as Chief Executive Officer (Designate), with a one-month overlap with Mr. Ajay Srinivasan to ensure a smooth leadership transfer," the company stated in a statement. She will continue her duties as CEO of Aditya Birla Capital Limited after this period of overlap."

According to media sources, Mulye is a chartered accountant by profession and currently serves as an Executive Director of ICICI Bank. Mulye is in charge of local and international wholesale banking, proprietary trading, markets, and transaction banking, according to the company's registration. ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company and ICICI Bank Canada are also on her board of directors.
