Vogue India celebrates it's 5th anniversary!

To commemorate its fifth anniversary this year, Vogue India, the ultimate fashion bible, hosted an evening of celebrations at Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai in association with Forevermark and Jacob’s Creek.

Commenting on Vogue India's fifth anniversary, Alex Kuruvilla, Managing Director, Condé Nast India said, "When Vogue entered India 5 years ago it signaled the arrival of India on the global fashion map. What an incredible 5 years it has been since. The fashion bible has gone beyond fashion to give Indian women ideas about what to see, read, and drive, where to travel and how to live. No wonder they say “Before it’s in fashion it’s in Vogue!” Coinciding with the 5th anniversary is the launch of our all new vogue.in website. Vogue’s runaway success has paved the way for the rollout of 3 more titles from the group: GQ, CN Traveller, Architectural Digest and Condé Nast Digital making Condé Nast, India’s biggest and most powerful premium, multi-media platform.”

Vogue India’s Anniversary issue features 5 split covers starring Anushka Sharma, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Sonam. Who’s your favourite cover girl? Vogue India gives you 5 options to choose from.

Spearheading Vogue India’s success for the last five years since launch, Priya Tanna, Editor, Vogue India said, "Vogue India has transformed the way fashion is chronicled in the country. Three words that best describe the last five years of what Vogue has meant to me is unforgettable, incomparable and inspiring. Launching a brand like Vogue has been the most defining moment in my career. The joy of bringing the best of international fashion home and showcasing the best of Indian fashion internationally has been the most gratifying experience. Today, we celebrated five years of the world’s best style bible in India with a lot of panache and with a big party that saw the best of Bollywood and fashion in attendance.”

Aneeth Arora (Brand name Péro) from Delhi, was declared the winner by Vogue India Editor Priya Tanna and felicitated by Gaurav Mahajan of Westside.
