Wakefit.co's Babloo Carpenter enters 5 new cities

As the IPL mood kicks-in and families continue to stay indoors and catch up on the game, India’s largest direct-to-consumer sleep and home solutions company, Wakefit.co, is launching a series of IPL themed videos featuring its widely popular character Babloo Carpenter, essayed by actor Vijay Raaz. Babloo Carpenter, in his unique and characteristic style, will be seen visiting homes in DelhiBengaluruChennaiPunjab and Kolkata to fix and install furniture, and engage with the families in an entertaining manner amidst their IPL frenzy.

The company has released six Babloo videos with IPL themed storylines starting with an introductory video of a group of cheerleaders cheering in the background as Babloo goes about assembling a Wakefit.co furniture unit. The introduction video was released on September 19, while the subsequent city-themed videos have been released today September 23, 2020, to mark the start of the IPL season. While Wakefit is shown to be a household name in the Bengaluru videos, Chennai households are depicted to have an affinity to great finishers, alluding to the CSK skipper MS Dhoni and his retirement announcement. Delhi, Punjab and Kolkata are also showcased adding their local IPL tadka, as Babloo visits their homes.  

In each of these videos, Babloo Artist’s interaction with the respective families reflects the warm service and human touch the brand seeks to deliver with its ‘local assembly, global quality’ service offering for the home solutions range.
