Watch love story ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ on Sony MAX

Indian society has become more accepting of the LBGTQIA+ community, and Bollywood has been bringing to audience stories that flaunt the colors of PRIDE. Despite a majority of romantic films are overtly cliched showcasing a predictable boy meet girl story, some films have broken these barriers with quirky and eccentric storylines. One such film that challenges the conventional Bollywood Rom-Com is Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor.

Revolving around Manvinder Munjal aka Manu (Ayushmann Khurrana) a gym owner and bodybuilder who aspires to win the  local strongman championship named G.O.A.T., yet fails year after year. While he focuses all of his attention and efforts on the competition, his business (gym)  faces a decline with a drop in number of customers. Until Maanvi Brar (Vaani Kapoor), the gym's freshly appointed Zumba instructor, walks in and things suddenly change for the gym, they start attracting more customers and in this process, the two find themselves in love. But there is more to  Maanvi than just being a beautiful woman, and that mystery plays a spoiler in their blooming romance. 

With an amazing storyline, the movie also offers a perfect mix of songs, comedy, romance and also entertains you with the purpose of giving a strong message of acceptance & inclusivity which makes it a perfect watch for Saturday evening.
