WazirX aims to triple it's workforce by the year end

At a time when the COVID-induced layoffs have crippled the job market, crypto has come to the rescue of the economy. India’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, WazirX is on a stellar run with its ultra-high-growth trajectory wherein it has doubled its team strength within the first quarter of 2021. The growth of the crypto exchange is backed by an ever-increasing customer footfall. The platform is also leading the industry with partnerships for ultramodern use-cases including Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT). To address the growing demand for crypto, WazirX has scaled its team across various functions like Tech, Marketing, Compliance, Customer Support, etc. The exchange has also hired industry veterans for leadership roles like Head of Human Resources, Head of Compliance & Legal, Senior Director - Engineering, VP - Business Operations, and Director - Customer Happiness. 

In order to take its game a notch above, WazirX is now actively recruiting top talent for engineering and operations. In addition to blockchain developers, the platform is also on a hunt for professionals well-versed in Python, JavaScript, SQL, MongoDB, and R alongside others. WazirX envisions creating the most technologically advanced infrastructure in India by building a robust pool of talent, wherein it has opened its door even for Tier-2 and Tier-3-city-based professionals. WazirX plans to triple its current workforce before the end of 2021, and further aims to strengthen its senior leadership in Security, Policy, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance. Technically, by the end of this year, WazirX will quadruple the headcount of its workforce between Dec ’20 and Dec ’21. The move will further augment the company’s products and services, thereby driving even higher footfall towards it in the near future. The platform is spearheading a forward-looking strategy to achieve its overarching objectives including its plan to initiate ‘Work From Anywhere’ soon.
