Key trends in Men’s grooming sector

On men’s grooming previously niche categories like skincare becoming mainstream, men will invest more in the way they look which is good news for all of us. We are also seeing an upgrade from mass Deo to fine fragrances and that will continue to increase. Owing to the massive popularity of Virat Kohli and Leo Messi the fade beard style will continue to rule.

Men are now actively seeking help to look good, therefore, specialised salons for men offering more than basic haircuts and shaves will continue to sprout. The impact of these trends will lead to product launches addressing grooming issues like hair loss due to male pattern baldness or de-tan creams for men.

Expectations from 2023

We are really excited about 2023, we crossed our pre-covid revenue number in 2022.  2023 is the year when we are gearing up for massive growth. The tailwinds that the women’s D2C brand experienced in the last few years will be seen in men's grooming too. We hope to grow 100% and reach a turnover of Rs 200 crore by the end of 2023.

Focus areas for 2023

The focus area will be to build on our online presence and grow our website business 3x. Furthermore, expand our offline presence from 10,000 to 50,000 stores. We already have a good fragrance range, and we have some very exciting new fragrances planned for the upcoming year. Additionally, we as a brand want to make sure that our employees have access to a great working environment so that they can excel.
