Weekend Exclusive | In this industry one cannot plan the future: TV Actor, Naman Shaw

Today Adgully will take you through the life of a new and talented Indian television actor who marked his presence with his roles as Pushkar in Zee TV's drama series Kasamh Se, as Nakul in STAR Plus's series Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and as Nihaal in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Shaw has also played small roles in other Balaji Telefilms serials such as a brief role in Kasturi as Kasturi's fiance, Giris. Later he had a brief role in Kahe Naa Kahe as Vidhyud on 9X channel.

Speaking about his journey till date, Naman said, "The journey has been really amazing. I started my career with Zee TV's talent hunt show, India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj Star ki khoj."

When asked about the key high points of his life, Naman said, "As a new entrant in the acting industry, "Kasam se' being my first show is really close to my heart. I did not have any knowledge about acting but the team there made me really comfortable." He said he loved his character in that show and also liked the story line.

"I got to learn so many things from that show. The whole show was really amazing", Naman said.

Telling about the challenges, he faced, Naman said, "I have not gone through that toughest part of life because I started from "Cinestars Ki Khoj'. From there I got selected directly my first show. So I have not faced the struggle."

He says, "I am so lucky that I have been a part of such big shows like "Kasauti, kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi. Telling about his current show, Beend Banoongaa Ghodi Chadhunga, he said, "I recently replaced the lead role Anuj Thakur aka Jai in the show. The show is doing really well and I like the character as well. It is been really amazing to be with the entire team. People are really nice and hard working."

Naman has always been inspired by television actor, Hussain. He says, "I love the way he has taken a toll in his life. I like the way he has handled this industry and also most importantly I love the way he acts."

Naman believes that, "In this industry, one cannot plan his/her future. You never know which opportunity will when knock your door."

While signing off Naman gave a very true and valuable advice. He said, "Do complete your studies and then enter this field as this is a very unpredictable industry. You never know what can happen when. So you should always keep your back up ready. Also this industry is very small and you might reach on top very quickly but always be down to earth because 'you never know'!"
