Adgully spoke with this extremely singer. The exclusive conversation began with Aditi’s 2012’s success. She was very happy with the year 2012 and said, “last year was too good a year for me as I had 5 songs in my basket, 2 from Agent Vinod ‘I'll Do The Talking Tonight’ & ‘Raabta - Night In A Motel’, 2 in Vicky Donor ‘Kho Jaane De’ & ‘Rokda’, title track of Heroine ‘Main Heroine Hoon’. Apart from Bollywood projects I did a song for The Avengers ‘Hello Andheron’ in collaboration with Agnee (Agnee Feat. Aditi Singh Sharma) .”
“And yes I hosted GIMA red carpet too,” she added.

As most of the songs that Aditi has sung are pop, funky and have fun element in their lyrics. We asked Aditi about her perception when it comes to the quality of lyrics as they are becoming more brassy.

“Today the lyrics that we are listening are not so indecent, if that would have been a problem it wouldn’t have been put out. If the administering body has passed it then there shouldn’t be a problem. The problems are just getting created as it doesn’t always require any reason to create problem,” she explained.

She further said, “There are responsible people who deal with entertainment and media industry; they’ll not put anything out which is so abusive or indecent. We are changing with the time so we just can’t limit ourselves to certain pattern of singing, writing or acting, we have to adapt to a newer way and I feel in our country adaptation will take time to settle down. I personally like Amitabh Bhattacharya’s lyrics.”

On reality shows front, she thoughtfully said, “India has got huge population and every year we have 2-3 seasons of reality shows like ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’, ‘Voice of India’ and others, so each show have at least 50 contestants, but everybody can’t be a star.”

“The quality to become a star, a performer or a singer is left to the individual. Everybody needs to push themselves to be the best in their field,” said Aditi.
She believes that luck plays a big factor in life, “one should do what they feel like doing with  100% confidence level; and they shouldn't leave the battle half way because when you are giving your 100% there is no chance of failure,” avers Aditi.

“We have a great talent and potential in our country when we talk about art and culture, it’s in our roots and we should keep proving ourselves as best,” said Aditi.
On today’s generation she feels that the young generation needs to push themselves more towards reality or the practical world they are living in. Sadly they follow stuffs or things because of uniqueness and the trendy factor which shouldn't be the case, she concluded.
