When the Dramebaazes bowled Comedy King Kapil Over

Ever since they set foot on the stage of Zee TV’s immensely popular slot-leading non-fiction show - India’s Best Dramebaaz, it has been a journey of learning and growth for 16 super-talented brat-packs. The Dramebaazes have successfully established that age is inversely proportionate to talent! Amidst all their tomfoolery and mischief, the l’il Dramebazes took entertainment to an all-new high and have left the entire nation spell-bound with their remarkable dramebaazi, maturity, poise and confidence.

The finalists are now looking forward to taking home the coveted ‘Trophy of Acting Ka Keeda’ at the Grand Finale. With the top 6 finalists-Kartikey Malviya, Swasti Nitya, Parth Mehta, Tamanah Deepak, Jaskaran Narula and Vansh Maheshwari putting their best foot forward to realize their dream of winning the  second season, the Grand Finale will witness a glorious extravaganza of unbridled energy with none other than the undisputed king of Comedy Kapil Sharma taking the viewers on a laughter ride on 5th & 6th March at 9:30 pm only on Zee TV.

Making the Grand Finale more special, the theme for the evening is ‘Awards Night’ where along with the winner of the season, other contestants who have shone in the series for specific talents will also be awarded. At the Grand Finale, Kapil Sharma added a tadka of his trademark humor bringing the house down with his funny antics, side-splitting punches and witty one liners. He seemed to be on a mission to get rid of his only 'competition'- host Rithvik Dhanjani in wooing the gorgeous judge Sonali Bendre. Adept at singing, Kapil dazzled Sonali, crooning a romantic track ‘Chehra Hai Ya Chand Khila’, making Rithvik go green with jealousy!

Kapil who had come fully prepared to have masti and fun on the sets, didn’t spare anyone when it came to pulling their leg, right from the judges and hosts to the parents and audience, leaving them gasping for breath between fits of laughter. He was caught off guard when he was called for a lie detector test by judge Sajid Khan who put him in a spot by asking him questions like ‘Did you get more money than us to come on the show...? Did your girlfriend leave you’? The funny man was left blushing a beetroot red! It is usually Kapil who leaves people speechless with his gift of gab but this time around he was left tongue-tied with the adorable, spontaneous replies of the tiny wonders – be it matching steps with Tamannah on her trademark Naagin style dance to conversing in Bihari with Preetjyot – the l’il Paaji with a Bihari accent to being cheekily questioned on his marriage plans, Kapil was at his wits’ end with the kids who turned out to be quite a handful for him to handle!

To say that Kapil was left in sheer awe of these little powerhouses of talent would be an understatement. He shares “India’s Best Dramebaaz is such a cute show, these kids deliver lines with such aplomb that even seasoned actors will have a tough time matching up to them... I try to follow the show as much as I can. At this age, I could hardly utter a word and they face the camera with amazing self-assurance…I am in awe of their sheer versatility and utter cuteness! He adds jokingly, “I want to ask the parents the recipe for producing such superbly talented kids!”
