Wieden+Kennedy and Publicis Groupe win the Global Agency mandate of Visa

After announcing a review for a new creative agency five months ago, Visa has announced that both Wieden+Kennedy and Publicis Groupe will handle its global work.

The news comes from a LinkedIn post written by Lynne Biggar, chief marketing and communications officer at Visa. While Publicis will continue to handle media duties for the payments giant, Wieden will handle creative strategies and major initiatives, the post read.

According to media reports, the media spends of Visa are said to be $200 million.

The account was previously handled by BBDO which even created the Olympics campaigns for them where they spoke about the safety regulations around Coronavirus.
