How and when did Capture Life Pvt Ltd come to be? How have you balanced your dental work, photography, and fine arts?
Capture Life Pvt Ltd was started four years ago as an amalgamation of a dentistry practice, photography business, and fine art printing solutions vertical. With the three being completely diverse, the process of initiating, integrating, and expanding each vertical has been unique and challenging. However, with the support of a great team, the initial hiccups were dealt with deftly. Though each business involved a little extra time and effort at the start, it was teamwork and time management that helped transform the initial baby steps into giant strides for the company. Over the years, the verticals have branched out and grown extensively, and each functions autonomously. Today, I do not need to oversee the minute details, allowing me more time to grow the business.

Do you intend to continue to operate all three enterprises in the future?
Capture Life was an idea I came up with, to integrate my knowledge, skills, passion, and experience. The execution of this idea took a lot of patience, dedication and hard work. All three of these business verticals are important to me and are an integral part of Capture Life. I want to grow all three enterprises and expand the business.

The term 'Capture Life Dental Care' appears to link your passion for photography and the arts to dental care. Please elaborate.
‘Capture Life’ – for me, symbolize two subjects that I have a deep connection with- dentistry and photography. They represent the platform that gives me the bandwidth to portray both these verticals. Over the years, ‘Capture Life’ has been the unifying factor that has led both in the direction of success. Under the brand, I have initiated enterprises that ‘capture’ the distinctive core of their respective specialties. Both have been integral in the growth of the professional I am today. Capture Life Dental Care has evolved over time to become a state-of-the-art clinic with the best dental infrastructure and patient care. Similarly, Studio Capture Life is all about going above and beyond to bring the greatest occasions to life, through the power of photographs.

What recommendations do you have for keeping our teeth healthy? Why aren't there any sanitary care classes taught in schools? What suggestions do you have in this regard?
Good dental hygiene is a very essential component of a healthy life. This includes the practice of regular brushing and flossing, not smoking, eating a nutritious diet, and seeing a dentist on a regular basis. This not only helps in the prevention of cavities, gum diseases, and other dental problems but is also beneficial for a person’s overall wellbeing.

Cleanliness and hygiene should be practiced actively in all walks of our lives. Children should be made aware of the importance of this essential at a very early age – in fact, knowledge of this should be imparted in schools. The understanding of oral hygiene is at an abysmal low in our country. We can improve it by conducting dental camps in primary schools to create the awareness from a young age. This will not only help them gain knowledge on the importance of the subject but will also encourage them to practice it on a daily basis.

What are your future plans for the dentistry, fine art printing, and photography industries, respectively?
Be it dentistry, fine art printing, or photography - all three verticals are very close to my heart. Each has carved its own niche, and I most definitely plan to continue with them going forward. When we look at dentistry, a large number of people are unaware of the importance and basics of oral care and hygiene. Imparting knowledge about oral hygiene is very important to me. I also have arranged various oral health drives in the past few years. There is great potential for expansion as we offer the very best care services in this segment.

Similarly, we are looking at expanding our photography vertical. We plan to do this by building a network of photographers under the Capture Life brand and undertaking various workshops. We will be covering events across the country - the subjects are innumerable, and the range is vast. Here too, we use the finest equipment and processes to deliver quality products. We plan to continue to upgrade our equipment and processes going forward. Printing is a very niche vertical. We plan to maintain a status quo here, as our offerings are premium.

I have also partnered with Strategic Growth Advisors (SGA) under joint brand SGA Capture Life to provide Brand & Design Services to corporates and brands. We want to provide services to integrate the complete communication for our clients where we help them create a common narrative of communication across all stakeholders.

What is one piece of advice you would recommend to our country's female entrepreneurs?
While the average woman entrepreneur in our country does not have an easy path to tread on, the situation is definitely improving. I would advise women entrepreneurs to employ and encourage as many women as possible and form a strong and encouraging working platform in which they can function effectively. I would also advise the woman entrepreneurs to understand and empathize with their employees. Her journey as an entrepreneur should be a constant learning process. She should learn from every mistake made, rather than be ruffled by them.

How will you educate the general public, particularly kids, youngsters, and the elderly, about dental care?
There is a significant lack of knowledge about dental care in our country. I truly believe that this issue should be tackled at the root. For one, it should be an essential part of schools’ curriculum. This will not only help educate children at a tender age on the subject but would also encourage them to adopt a healthy oral care routine and make it an essential part of their daily life. From a broader perspective, I feel that the knowledge of dental care can also be shared with the general public by using popular mediums like apps and television. Seminars and workshops can be held in offices, schools, and on other platforms. And of course, the most important point of contact for this purpose is the dentist. We speak to our clients and answer queries regarding dental treatment. I feel that all dentists should practice this procedure, if not being done already.

What kind of synergy do you intend to develop between the two companies?
Photography and dentistry are two integral parts of Capture Life. I have been in the field of dentistry for around 17 years now and it has taught me immense patience, handling clients, and time management. Whereas photography has taught me how to use my creativity, analyze the small detail, and the importance of upskilling your business. Both my businesses are constantly teaching me something new which is something I use to run my overall business. Within Capture Life, these two ventures go hand in hand. When one grows, the other grows too.
