World TV Premiere – ‘Durgeshgorer Guptodhon’

Jalsha Movies has been a pioneer in presenting the best of Bengali Entertainment for its viewers on the small screen. With a diversified array of movies, the channel over the years has always taken the onus to showcase new blockbusters at the home of the viewers.  Adding yet another feather to its diverse repertoire, Jalsha Movies will now showcase ‘Durgeshgorer Guptodhon’, on Sunday, 26^th April, 2020 at 8:00 PM. Released in 2019, Durgeshgorer Guptodhon is directed by Dhrubo Banerjee. The film stars Abir Chatterjee, Arjun Chakraborty, Ishaa Saha and Arindam Sil in leading roles. The central plot revolves around the excitement of a treasure hunt. As Sona da with Abir and Jhinuk embarks on a new adventure after “Guptodhoner Sondhane”.

During the telecast of the movie this Sunday, the trio – Abir, Arjun and Ishaa along with the Dhrubo Banerjee, the Director and Khuncho played by the little Bihan will come across your screen to present the making of this thrilling treasure hunt. They are all set to share - the unseen moments and the chemistry which they have, behind the camera. As the film unfolds the treasure maze, the cast will also unfold the daze of the rich heritage, culture, rituals and nuances of Bengal.

The movie’s narrative is bound to pull the right string simultaneously, as it will compel the viewers to think about the conundrum of a treasure hunt. A quest which takes the trio to the legendary Durgeshgor. The central plot revolves around the princely mansion of the Debroy’s – the erstwhile zamindar of Durgeshgor. The trio will solve many riddles to get closer to the treasure, testing their wit and grit. Apart from the screenplay, the lyrics and the background score by Bickram Ghosh will add wattage to the excitement of the viewers.
