WPP's LG-One retains global PR mandate for LG Electronics
WPP's LG-One retains global public relations mandate for LG Electronics. The LG-One unit has been handling LG Electronics' global PR mandate since 2009. Reports estimate that the account is worth anywhere between $ 9 to 15 million. The mandate covers LG's key global markets including US, UK, Korea, Brazil, France, Thailand and UAE.
LG-One unit comprises of talent from both H+K Strategies and Ogilvy. According to a company spokesperson, nine public relations firms were invited to send a request for proposal (RFP) including global agencies that have a strong presence in the South Korean market.
