Xaxis appoints Jessica Maley as Asia Pacific Talent Lead

Xaxis, GroupM’s programmatic and technological arm, has appointed Jessica Maley as its first APAC Talent Lead.

In her new role, Jessica will oversee the talent strategy across 15 APAC markets; working closely with our regional leaders and key stakeholders within markets to actively drive innovative initiatives across attraction, development and engagement. As well as driving global Xaxis initiatives across APAC, Jessica will work closely with our GroupM HR team to deliver the best possible employee experience for the 400 Xaxis employees in the region.

This is the first role of its kind in Xaxis APAC, demonstrating the company’s dedication towards employee success. In her role, amongst managing other scalable processes and policies, Jessica will also be responsible for providing employees with an exemplary experience in the workplace. This involves the culture, benefits, physical work environment, and tools all Xaxis staff will have access to grow personally and professionally.

Commenting on the appointment, Jessica said: “Having worked with Xaxis as part of my GroupM remit for the past six years, I am truly excited to be able to fully focus on the business. Xaxis is growing quickly in the region and having a specialist to manage and nurture both our existing and incoming talent is vital, especially in our industry where the type of talent profile we need is ever changing and ever evolving, which creates a high demand for talent with skills which are brand new”

With more than 9 years of experience in human resources and talent management, Jessica’s GrouoM adventure started in Australia in 2013. As the first talent acquisition lead for GroupM Jessica developed and implemented the hiring strategy across all agencies in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. In 2017, she relocated to Singapore to take on the GroupM APAC Head of Talent Acquisition role, leading our hiring strategy and driving solution implementation across region. She also successfully created and executed a restructure and refocus proposal for talent acquisition, changing the core focus of the regional team.

“As automation of media continues to grow at substantial pace in Asia Pacific, pairing human with artificial intelligence will be to our utmost advantage. We are committed to architect and deliver consistent value for our clients and in doing so there is an imperative need to  invest and develop our talent by enabling them with the very best skills and competencies to thrive alongside the warmth of the Xaxis brand and culture. We are excited and fortunate to have Jessica who will continue to evolve and drive our transformative talent strategy across APAC.”Arshan Saha, CEO APAC, Xaxis
