XtremeU to come up with a new initiative for Women's Day

Kolkata is set to experience a one of its kind off- roading event, Xtreme U- a joint initiative by Mahindra and Fever 104 FM. A first for the City of Joy, the event which will bring together women drivers for a once in a life time off-road experience in celebration of International Women’s Day which falls on March 8 every year. Sapna Gurkar, a two-time Mahindra Adventure Off-Roading National Women’s Champion will inaugurate the event. The competitions will take place over two days, Saturday, March 3 and Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Eco Park, with a gala prize distribution ceremony scheduled for Women’s Day at the Newtown Club in Rajarhat.

Exciting day-long activities have been planned for the two-day event. Besides the off-roading competition, there will also be a best mods competition, Mahindra track drive and an exclusive off road show lined up. There will also be a Golf clinic for partners, spouses as well as participants and food and games stalls, emcee-led entertainment and exciting prizes to be won for all attending. 

Over 100 women drivers from the city are expected to register for the off-roading competition and there is also a couples category available.

The event will also witness the new Mahindra KUV Xtreme, a custom built off-roading vehicle, make its debut in Kolkata after being unveiled to rave views at the recently concluded Auto Expo in the National Capital Region earlier this month.
