YouTube powers offline ventures with YouTube Theatre

With the launch of YouTube Theater, which will host entertainment events, concerts, theatre performances, award shows, ESports competitions, community gatherings, conferences, and more, the online video sharing platform's offline ventures, such as YouTube FanFest, will be amplified.

The arena, which is located in Inglewood, California, was built in a 10-year partnership with the Hollywood Park team, and the sports and entertainment destination spans nearly 300 acres.

While the theatre is a physical location for offline events, several interactive digital components have been integrated to provide creative flexibility in assimilate screens that can be programmed with creator content relevant to events being hosted at a given time.

For example, in addition to the activities in the SoFi Stadium, creator content from the genre can be showcased to enhance the viewing experience, or gaming content can be displayed on the digital screens during an ESports competition.
