Zee Action to air Big B’s Lal Baadshah on 21st September

Producer K.C Bokadia’s 1999 hit Lal Baadshah saw Amitabh Bachchan portray the titular role of a man with a heart of gold, who lives for others and is the uncrowned king of the people. Directed by K.C Bokadia, the movie also stars Manisha Koirala, Shilpa Shetty, Nirupa Roy and Amrish Puri in pivotal roles. Zee Action - India’s one-stop destination for action movies, will air the ultimate fight between good vs evil ‘Lal Baadshah’ on Saturday, 21st September at 8pm. 

The story traces the life of Lal Singh (Amitabh Bachchan) who lives in a small basti in Mumbai along with his mother (Nirupa Roy). Fondly known as ‘Lal Baadshah’, he is a messiah for the poor as he protects them from all the negative forces in town. Lal Baadshah is at loggerheads with his nemesis Vikram Singh, alias Vicky Baadshah (Raghuvaran), who is a local don and the son of Dayal Singh (Amrish Puri). Vicky and his brother Ajit Singh (Mukesh Rishi), a corrupt police officer who want the entire city under their control so that they can harass the citizens. But the one controlling them is their father Dayal Singh who is living in a castle away from the city hiding a deep dark secret. As the story progresses, Lal unravels a murder and a hidden secret that is connected to Dayal Singh. 

Will Lal Baadshah be able to expose Dayal and bring him to justice?
