ZEE appoints Deepti Pillay Sivan as Biz Head for upcoming Malayalam channel

After foraying into the South markets, launching channels in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEE) is now gearing up to launch a new channel in Malayalam. Deepti Pillay Sivan has been roped in as Business Head for the upcoming channel. 

Sivan comes with experience in the Media & Entertainment industry, which includes film, television and radio. Endowed with specific expertise in Media Strategy, Production Design, Content Conceptualisation and Development, with a distinct style of working high levels across other media platforms, Sivan passionately believes in the potential of Social Media, Films, Televisions, and Arts & Culture to transform lives and build stronger society.

Sivan have taken on various roles over the course of working as an Advocate, Relationship Broker, Production Designer, and Public Relations, among others, specialising in brokering mutually beneficial partnerships and bringing together creative teams to make things happen in the Media sector.

A Law graduate and an MBA in Entrepreneurship, Sivan has handled a variety of roles with enriched experiences - as Director, Producer, Production Designer, and Station Director of a Radio Station to a Channel Head of Television. Her forte is media strategy, ideas generation, content development, brand identity and expansion.
