Zee Media Corporation's Abhay Ojha is no more

On Sunday morning, 19 June, 2022, the media fraternity woke up to the shocking news of the passing away of Abhay Ojha, Chief Revenue Officer, Zee Media Corporation. He passed away last night due to cardiac arrest.

Ojha was President – Sales & Marketing at News Nation Network, prior to joining Zee. He began his career with Aaj Tak (India Today Group) as a management trainee- ad sales, which gave him a strong foundation of the broadcast business. He later moved to Network18, as Head – North India Sales for IBN7 (now News18 India) & IBN Lokmat. During his tenure, he grew revenue multifold with a significant increase in the clientele.

In 2011,he was the National Sales Head at Reliance Broadcast Network. He later joined the TV9 Group, where he handled North & East India geographies. There, within a span of one and half yearr, he attained historic revenue benchmark.
