Zee Studios International forays into Philippine cinema

An uncomplicated romantic film, ‘Sid & Aya: Not a Love Story’ continues its blockbuster dominance in many parts of the world, and marking its first foreign film, Zee Studios International announces to distribute the film in Singapore. Released on 21st June, 2018, the film has received immense love from the regional, as well as non-regional audience.

The film follows Sid (Dingdong Dantes) who suffers from insomnia and meets Aya (Anne Curtis) who he hires to accompany him in his sleepless nights. Thefilm’s tagline about it not being a love story has been as intriguing as Anne and Dingdong’s first major big screen pairing.

On this development, Vibha Chopra, Head - Zee Studios International (Film Marketing, Distribution and Acquisition) comments “With continuous efforts in giving content a relevant platform, we’re delighted to release our first foreign film. The Philippine population covers the second largest population in Singapore, after Indians and therefore the decision to distribute this particular film there. This move also points out the company’s plans of beefing up its foreign regional film distribution plans. Simultaneously, we want to stay focused on delivering our promise of providing wholesome entertainment to audiences around the globe.”

The film is not dubbed in various languages and plays in the local language Tagalog.
