Zee Talkies organizes special screening of Natarang for Sachin

Cricket icon Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar watched the critically acclaimed Marathi movie Natrang', produced by Zee Talkies and starring national-award winning actor Atul Kulkarni.

A special screening was organised by Zee Talkies yesterday at a multiplex in suburban Bandra, where the legendary batsman walked in with his wife Anjali and close friend Ajit Ranade.

He was also accompanied by Mumbai Meri Jaan fame Nishikant Kamat, filmmakers Indra Kumar and Rakesh Mehra, director Ravi Jadhav and lead actor Atul Kulkarni, Nikhil Sane, Business Head Zee Talkies and Amit Phalke, Executive Producer, Natarang for the late night show.

The movie, depicting the plight of Tamasha artist, turned out to be a fine watch for Sachin, who was all praise for work of Atul Kulkarni and specially mentioned about the film music, by composer-duo Ajay-Atul. He said, Atul had impressed me always with his different roles, and once again he did the same. Now Natarang has given me altogether great satisfaction. I'm really happy to having this pleasure with Zee Talkies. On and off, I keep on watching many movies. This is a standard piece of work in the recent times," he said.

Natarang is the story of a farm worker who is also an amateur wrestler. He dreams of playing the king in folk Marathi theatre. The movie will be aired on Zee Talkies on Saturday, August 28,2010 at 7pm.
