Zee Talkies to relaunch in a new avatar
The channel, being the first private player to enter the Marathi regional space with Marathi Films, claims to be the pioneer in creating new genres with strong film content for 24 hours. The channel was formed in 2007 with a sole aim of promoting Marathi cinema to every possible audience. Along with that Zee Talkies is also known for its immense support to Marathi film producers.
In these 3 years Zee Talkies has shown many nationally as well as internationally acclaimed movies such as "Shwas', "Natarang', , "Me Shivajiraje Bhosle Boltoy', "Harishchandrachi Factory' ; along with the mass appealing movies like "Jatra', "Agabai Arrecha', "Sawarkhed-ek gaon', "Bindhaast' etc. Zee Talkies is also targeting youth by showing movies such as "Chekmate', "De Dhakka' etc. And similarly it helped viewer to remember the golden era of Marathi cinema by showing movies from the legendary studios like Jayprabha, Prabhat, Raajkamal etc.
Not only broadcasting, Zee Talkies is also committed for its quality movie productions like Saade Maade Teen, De Dhakka and highly acclaimed Natarang. These films from Zee Talkies were commercially successful and critically acclaimed. It shows dedication and continued demand for quality output.
In last 3 years Zee Talkies contribute majorly to strengthen the relationship between Marathi Cinema and its viewer. Today, Zee Talkies is highly responsible for carrying Marathi cinema to almost every home of Maharashtra and is now an undivided part of all Marathi families.
After the incredible journey of 3 years, Zee Talkies will enter in its 4th year with a new look and new form. Though it is coming in its new form, Zee Talkies will not only continue to fulfill its promise of quality entertainment but it will present the new surprises in coming days and years.
