Zee TV's DID Super Moms unveils Top 15 contestants!

You’ve watched thousands of moms from across the country dance their way into the auditions of DID Super Moms season 2. You’ve laughed with them, even cried hearing the stories of some others …  now, celebrate their victories as only the best amongst the lot secure their positions amongst the Top 15  and embark on their journey of dance on India’s biggest dance reality show!

So, here’s a look at who’s made it to Top 15

Siddhesh Ke Stunners

Harpreet khatri- A trained dancer, Harpreet belongs to Mumbai & excels in diverse dance forms like hip hop, Bollywood, classical, freestyle. Having worked as an assistant choreographer with renowned choreographers of Bollywood, this versatile dancer has already shown the spark and made the judges & skippers say that she has all the qualities of making it to the finale of DID SM!

Sudipta Panda- A dance teacher by profession, Sudipta hails from Orissa. A trained Odissi dancer, Sudipta is trying to pick up other forms of dance as well to prove her versatility in DID SuperMoms. Her ultimate goal is to buy a house for her son and herself. Her team has nicknamed her ‘Teddy Bear’. You’ll soon find out why!

SomyaShree- This supermom hailing from Chickmaglore, Karnataka has charmed the judges with her infectious smile, limitless energy and mind-blowing expressions. A powerhouse performer, Somyashree loves to perform freestyle, contemporary, salsa and Tollywood.  Having auditioned for almost all the previous seasons of DID, she owes her learning of dance to this show and has now finally made the cut, having perfected her style. She’s a joy to watch as she exudes happiness and excitement with her every move!

Devika Handa- Happy go lucky by nature, Devika participated in DID SuperMoms on her husband’s insistence. A self-taught dancer, Devika didn’t take any formal training and learnt everything by watching videos online. She draws her inspiration from Madhuri Dixit and wants to prove those who think she can only dance in marriages wrong by making it really big in the world of dance! This young supermom filled with positive energy and enthusiasm hails from Jalandhar.

Priyanka Rokade- Mumbai mom Priyanka is passionate about her dancing and excels in Bollywood, hip hop & house dance. Despite not having undergone formal training, she can give any dancer stiff competition with her clean, sharp moves. She calls her husband Rohan her partner in crime, she feels extremely blessed to have got the most supportive family post marriage.

Mayuresh Ki Mallikayein

Skipper Mayuresh has a very versatile group of dancers with dancers being well versed in diverse styles like classical, Hip Hop, Jazz and Kallaripayattu.

Swatabdi Sarkar- This hip hop queen from Ahmedabad can give any boy a run for his money when it comes to sheer swagger! Effortlessly pulling off stylish Hip-hop, she has the hottest locking popping moves this season. Exuding the spirit of SuperMoms to the core, Swatabdi is a dance teacher by profession and looks after her son singlehandedly.

Rashmita Patel- Apart from her passion for dance, this SuperMom from vadodara has another poignant reason to participate in the show- to fund her daughter’s eye surgery! Determined to put her best foot forward in the competition, Rashmita excels in Bollywood & Salsa. Overcoming several obstacles in her life with her grit, she’s never quit her dream of becoming an accomplished, professional dancer. She’s currently a dance teacher and her team fondly calls her ‘Swami Narayan’ … watch the show to find out why!

Pallavi Patel- Based in Mumbai, Pallavi excels in varied dance forms like classical, folk, hip hop, jazz. A performer par excellence, she has been an assistant dancer in various Bollywood movies and started doing stage shows from the age of sixteen. Pallavi strives to strike a fine balance between her family and her passion.

Sujata Suresh- All of 24 years, Sujata from Pune is the youngest supermom on the show. Exceling in contemporary, Kallaripayattu, salsa & jazz, she mesmerized the judges with her rocking act and amazing confidence! Blessed with a supportive family post marriage, she participated in supermoms just for the sheer joy of dancing.

Monika Sharma- Learning dance from a tender age, she loves to perform kathak, Bollywood, folk. After getting separated from her husband, her daughter has been a pillar of strength for her. Born in Muzaffarnagar, UP, she is currently based in Delhi. Her dream is to make her daughter independent so that she can live her life freely!

Sanam Ke Superstars

Contemporary choreographer Sanam Johar and his team represent all four corners of the country

Preeti Khetan- This supermom from Delhi hopes to dispel myths that people have about dancing as a profession. Her aim behind participating in SuperMoms is not to win the show but to get that one thing she’s never had in life – the acknowledgement and support from her father-in-law, who does not favor women pursuing a career in dance. She wants to prove to everyone that women who dance are not nachaniyas; they are artists who love to perform. She runs a dance academy and her forte is Hip Hop, contemporary & jazz.

Sneha Adapawar- This powerhouse of talent from Mumbai owns the stage the moment she steps on it. The stunning supermom will not let you take your eyes off her when she performs. She loves to perform on Jive, Salsa, Waltz, Tango, & Bollywood. Working as an assistant choreographer, nothing in the world can make her happier than dancing!

Yasmin Sheikh-The eldest supermom in the show, Yasmin has acted and danced in several Bollywood movies. Her daughter coaxed her into participating in DID SuperMoms, knowing her love for dance. Based in Mumbai, she excels in Kathak and Bollywood styles. Her only aim to participate in this show is to reconnect with a latent talent and build her forgotten identity once again!

Dipashree Chatterjee-Overcoming numerous hurdles in life with a smile on her face, this Supermom proves that where there is a will there is a way! Born in Kolkata but shifted to Delhi, Dipashree always aspired to be a dance teacher as a kid. The two most important things in her life are her 10 year daughter and her passion for dance. Styles that she considers her forte are contemporary and Bollywood.

Komal Deep Kaur- Hailing from Chandigarh, Komal received immense support from her husband and in-laws to follow her dancing dream. Komal now wants to dance and make her family truly proud of her. Auditioning for DID Super Moms was an unforgettable experience as it was her first stage performance despite not being a trained dancer.
