Zee TV’s logo to don an orange hue; new look to debut on October 15

Hindi GEC Zee TV is all set to don a new look from October 15, 2015. The current blue-coloured logo will be replaced by a new one in orange. According to industry sources, the tagline: ‘Har Lamha Nayi Umeed’ will be replace by a more future-focussed tagline: ‘Aaj Likhenge Kal’.

It is learnt that the new logo of Zee TV was revealed at the recently held Zee Rishtey Awards 2017. The awards ceremony will be aired on Zee TV on October, during which the new logo will be unveiled on air.

Zee TV has been maintaining its position in the third spot as per BARC data. In Week 36, the channel garnered a gross viewership of 625,640. Two of its shows – ‘KumKum Bhagya’ and ‘Kundali Bhagya’ – were among the top 5 most watched shows on Hindi GECs in Week 36.

The channel recently spruced up its early prime time line-up with two new fiction serials – ‘Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morre’ and ‘Bhootu’. It will soon add another new show to its content bouquet – ‘Dil Dhoonta Hai’, produced by Nitin Vaidya. The channel is also gearing up for a new season of its talent hunt show, ‘Dance India Dance’. Long-running talent hunt show for kids, ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs’ has also been amongst the top 5 most watched shows on Hindi GECs for several weeks. However, it is learnt that there won’t be any major changes in Zee TV’s content line-up post the revamp.
