ZEE5, Applause Entertainment, ALTBalaji, Hungama shine at SCREENXX 2020 Awards

There was no stage, the rousing background music was missing and so were the loud cheers filling the conference hall. But the celebration of India’s best work in the digital content space was as robust as ever. SCREENXX 2020 Award winners were announced during the virtual Summit on October 1, 2020 and amid much cheer in their respective organisations.

ZEE5 was adjudged OTT Platform of the Year. ZEE5 also won the award for Best Platform for Content (Entertainment). The campaign by the OTT platform from the ZEE stable, titled ‘Atrangi Dekho, Atrangi Raho’, was awarded Campaign of the Year by an Agency.

Applause Entertainment walked away with the award for Best Content Studio.

ALTBalaji won the Gold in the Best Marketing Campaign Launch for Web Series for ‘Mentalhood’. MXPlayer won the Silver in this category for ‘Raktanchal’, while Voot Select won the Silver for its campaign for ‘ASUR - Welcome to your dark side’. The ‘Asur’ campaign also won a Gold for Voot Select in the Best Marketing for a Web Original - Across Platforms category.

In the Best Marketing Innovation in OTT Platform category, MXPlayer walked away with the Gold for ‘Queen’. The Silver went to ALTBalaji for the Breast Buffer Campaign.
