ZEEL presents Rock on 2 Live concert

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL), India's leading entertainment conglomerate and Excel Entertainment bring to you the first ever Rock On 2 Concert with Team Magik. Setting the stage on fire with their musical fervors, Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Shraddha Kapoor, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Purab Kohli, Prachi Desai along with Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Siddharth Mahadevan  present an evening of foot tapping music, superlative energy and memorable fanfare in Mumbai today. Zee Music Company, the music label of the film and &pictures, the satellite partner for the movie Rock On 2 have come on board to promote the movie with this unique concert. ZEE’s production arm, Essel Vision has conceptualized, created and produced the concept.

Taking ahead the association after the successful premiere of Dil Dhadakne Do, &pictures announces the music launch of Rock On 2 to celebrate the musical excellence of Excel Entertainment over the last decade. The synergy between both brands is clear with &pictures – Naye India ka Blockbuster Movie channel targeting young audiences and Excel Entertainment’s Rock On 2 also reaching out to and inspiring the young blood of India.

Speaking on the association, Zee Hindi Movies Cluster, Business Head, Mr. Ruchir Tiwari said “ZEE has been a part of many firsts in Bollywood and Relive The Magik tour adheres to our endeavor to stay a step ahead. We are happy to present our viewers with such an exhilarating experience. To ensure that the audience don’t miss out on the fun, the Mumbai concert will be a simulcast on &pictures, &pictures HD, Zee Cinema, Zee Cinema HD, and later on &TV, ETC and Zing.”

Speaking on the music association, Zee Music Company, Business Head, Mr. Anurag Bedi said “We are excited to be the music label for a youth oriented movie like Rock On 2 and associate with Excel Entertainment. Coming back on screen after a year, an elated Farhan Akhtar said, “Rock On has been about music and its power to bring people together. In that spirit, we felt it would be appropriate to invite our fans to come be part of the album release. It's their love that's kept the music alive. The opportunity to perform with Shankar Ehsaan Loy and watch Shraddha make her live onstage singing debut, there's something in it for all of us.”

Released in 2008, Rock On was a huge success and marked the debut of Farhan Akhtar as an actor. The sequel now promises to be a better joyride with new characters adding to the band.
