Zomato appoints Rameet Arora as Chief Marketing Officer

Zomato has appointed Rameet Arora as Chief Marketing Officer. With over 17 years of experience in the field of advertising and marketing, Rameet will take over as CMO immediately, and will be responsible for Zomato's marketing efforts globally. In his previous role, Rameet was serving as Senior Director of Marketing and  Menu Management, at McDonald's India-HRPL.

Pankaj Chaddah, Co-Founder & COO, Zomato said, "It's great to have Rameet on board. He comes with a lot of relevant experience, and we look forward to scaling our marketing efforts in potential markets as well as driving quicker growth in our existing ones."

Prior to McDonald's, Rameet was Head of Marketing for Colors, a leading television channel in the country. Over the years, Rameet has been associated with top advertising and marketing companies, most notably Leo Burnett, where he spent over eight years. "It's great to be a part of such a fast-growing team. Number one on the agenda is to make Zomato a global synonym for food", said Rameet.

He joins Zomato in the midst of their aggressive international expansions and extensive product development. Rameet grew up in Delhi, and is a graduate in Economics from St. Stephen’s College. He went on to complete his MBA from NMIMS, Mumbai.
