zoOm brings to you "Bollywood Big Story'

zoOm - India's no. 1 Bollywood Channel, expands its portfolio of shows with the launch of "Bollywood Big Story'. The news feature show will pick up the current and hottest topic doing the rounds in Bollywood, and showcase the views and opinions of who's who from the industry. The current talk of the town is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's pregnancy and how it has impacted Madhur Bhandarkar's film "Heroine' that she had signed. This will be the first Big Story on the show. The first episode will also witness the opinions from Bollywood on the issue of pregnancy clause being added to the contracts of actresses. A bimonthly show, this episode will be aired on Saturday, July 16th, at 12:30PM

Acclaimed directors of the industry Mahesh Bhatt and Ram Gopal Varma, though in a very diplomatic manner, support fellow director Mahur Bhandarkar. Mahesh Bhatt laid emphasis on the spoken word in the entertainment industry and honoring it. He further went on to add, "If the film is a glamorous diva film then it's obvious that the new mother to be, will overshadow the image of the film, so I feel it's unfortunate that they couldn't resolve the deal behind closed doors". And Ram Gopal Verma in his typical sadist humor expressed that beautiful women should not get pregnant.

Sushmita Sen who has adopted 2 children shares her take by saying, "I don't believe that what I do outside my job is anybody's business, if someone were to put a clause like that on me, I would show the door to the producer."
