Zulfiqar Khan resigns as Group COO from Balaji Telefilms

Zulfiqar Khan, the Group COO of Balaji Telefilms, has resigned according to sources. His last working day is June 15. In the past year, Khan was appointed by the TV production company. His responsibilities included overseeing the efficiency of the company’s marketing, content, profit and loss operations, distribution deals. He has more than 19 years of experience in digital media and broadcast companies including Star TV, HOOQ India, EROS Now. He has commendable comprehension of the entertainment world, and large scale experience of conducting operations. He started his career at Star India in the year 1999, spending more than 16 years assuming distinct roles. In the year 2015, he became the business head  and CRO at EROS Now. In his last role, he led strategy as the managing director for HOOQ.
