'Comedy Superstar is a clean comedy show' says Arun Sheshkumar

Making a clean stand up comedy show is a rare now. But producer duo Arun Sheshkumar and Pankita Sadrani made this possible. The current show Comedy Superstar on Sab TV which has judges like Sushmita Sen, Shekhar Suman and Sonu Sood is definitely a winner. The show has no single double meaning jokes in it.

Talking about the standard of the show Arun tells us,"Years back when audience used to watch reality shows they used to like the pure entertainment and not a word was scripted. Things have changed after that. We were approached by Sab TV, India’s best comedy channel to make a different show which would cater to the family audience. I truly believe in making a show which I can sit and enjoy with my family. The current trend of comedy show is double meaning jokes and people feel without this punches the show is incomplete. But with Comedy Superstar we want to tell the audience without double meaning jokes and below the belt humour we can also bring smiles in people's face." Arun also adds,"Our target audience is mainly the family audience of all age groups. Asli mazaa SAB ke saath aata hai - that's the tagline of the channel and we wanted to achieve that. Our show is purely based on this theory."
