Daya Sir'' gets eliminated from Khatron Ke Khiladi

Be it the contestants, the South African crew or the action maestro Rohit Shetty, Dayanand Shetty managed to please everyone with his humble and helpful attitude  on the stunt based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi – Darr Ka Blockbuster on COLORS.

The visibly rough and tough Daya was always an inspiration for everyone around him as he performed his stunts with full fervor.  Unknown to many, television’s favourite door-busting cop suffered from hydrophobia, but this did not deter him from confronting his fear on multiple occasions. If anything, this constant face-off of his biggest fear made him one of the toughest competitors on the show especially because it helped him overcome him fear of water.

Speaking about his experience on the show, Dayanand Shetty aka Daya Sir said, "Khatron Ke Khiladi has been an amazing experience. For me, it was like getting a medal on my uniform and I am very proud of myself. I felt quite confident especially because the crew was quite friendly and cooperative. Having Rohit Shetty as an anchor was like a cherry on the cake! I shared a great rapport with all the contestants. My favorite memory, in fact, was my last day on the show where not only all the contestants but even the crew got emotional on seeing me leave and that meant a lot to me."

During the course of the show, Dayanand Shetty aka ‘Daya Sir’ as he was fondly called by his co-contestants, was seen in an all-new avatar as he joined in the fun and dance moments with his fellow contestants on the show.As he moves on from Cape Town, Daya Sir stands tall with not only the respect of every person he has interacted with on the show, but also a critical role in a movie with rohit shetty. The show has truly been a blockbuster for him… Here’s wishing him luck for all his future endeavours!
