BARC ratings Wk 2: Colors' reign continues; Star Plus climbs to No. 2

BARC rating for Week 2 (January 9-15) of 2016 saw Colors continue to lead the Hindi GECs with gross viewership of 762,023, a growth from 756549 recorded in the first week of 2016.

Week 2 saw Star Plus gain viewership to register grow viewership of 727,809, up from 699,211 last week, which saw the channel climb to the No. 2 spot pushing down Zee Anmol to the third spot. Zee Anmol saw a fall in gross viewership from 719,713 last week to 682,983 in Week 2.

Zee TV and Star Utsav maintained their respective positions of No. 4 and No. 5. However, while Zee TV’s gross viewership dropped to 636,989 from 681,259 last week.

Placed at No. 6, Life OK saw its gross viewership increase from 421,720 to 425,798. Rishtey remained at No. 7 with gross viewership of 365,968, compared to 390,315 last week.

Sony Pal was placed eighth, garnering gross viewership of 339,073. Meanwhile, Sony Entertainment Television, which was at No. 10 for two weeks, climbed up a notch to No. 9 with gross viewership of 325,509, as against 328,025 last week. Sony Sab slipped to the tenth spot with gross viewership of 323,649.
