C. Lalrosanga appointed interim DG of Doordarshan

Shri C. Lalrosanga has been appointed as the interim Director General of Doordarshan. Previously, he was holding the charge of Additional Director General, AIR and has rich & diverse experience in broadcasting, both in sound and visuals.

He has taken charge of the public broadcaster in challenging times, especially considering the proposed launch of the 'Kisan Channel' and four channels for North eastern region.

He joined North eastern service of All India Radio (NES) Shillong, as Director after getting selected by UPSC in 1991. Before that he was as Assistant News Editor (ANE) at AIR, Aizawl.

Shri Lalrosanga likes poetry and music, especially devotional music and is a programmer of repute.
