Cannes Lions 23: Leo Burnett, Dentsu Creative, VMLY&R, FCB in the race for SDG Lions

In the Sustainable Development Goals category of the ongoing Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2023, India has seven shortlisted entries competing for an award.

Leading the Indian contenders is Leo Burnett, with four shortlists for their work on PepsiCo Lay's. The shortlisted entries from Leo Burnett include "Lay's Smart Farm" in Mumbai/Bengaluru by Cropin (2 nominations) and "The Biochar Project by Lay's" in Delhi (2 nominations).

Other Indian agencies in the running for an SDG Lion are Dentsu Creative, VMLY&R/VMLY&R Commerce, and FCB Interface Mumbai/FCB Sao Paulo.

Dentsu Creative's entry "The Everything Book" from Gurgaon, created for Vedantu e-Learning, has been shortlisted. VMLY&R and VMLY&R Commerce's collaboration on the design of Suvidha Centre for Unilever in Mumbai is also a contender. FCB Interface Mumbai and FCB Sao Paulo's joint effort on "Tr for Teacher" for Navneet is another shortlisted entry.

The Sustainable Development Goals Lions Awards will be presented on June 23.
