Gaming startup Lightfury Games secures $8.5 million funding

Gaming startup Lightfury Games, founded by Karan Shroff (formerly CMO of Unacademy), has secured $8.5 million in funding. The round was led by Blume Ventures, with participation from Gemba Capital, MIXI, Inc., and angel investors including Kunal Shah and Gaurav Munjal. Lightfury Games plans to use the funding to establish two gaming studios – one in Bangalore and another in London. Their goal is to develop high-quality AAA titles and solidify India's position in the global gaming market.
