GoaFest 2011 core Committee to be led by Lynn de Souza

The GoaFest 2011 which will be held on April 7, 8 and 9, 2011 has announced its committee members. Lynn de Souza, Chairman and CEO, Lintas Media Group and Chairperson and Vice President, Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI), will be heading the committee for 2011. The Industry Conclave will be held on the 7th of April 2011, followed by two days of GoaFest.

The committee also includes Nagesh Alai, Executive Director, Interface Communications Pvt Ltd and President, AAAI; Arvind Sharma, Chairman, Leo Burnett; Srinivasan Swamy, Chairman, RK Swamy BBDO; Suman Srivastava, CEO, Euro RSCG India; Shashi Sinha, CEO, Lodestar UM and Prasoon Joshi, Executive Chairman, McCann Worldgroup.

Talking about the responsibilties that the committee will be partaking in, de Souza told Adgully, "As a team we are overseeing the entire event of the Goafest which includes an exclusive business conclave, a series of open-to-all seminars with world class speakers, the creative and media awards functions, a few parties, and several exciting opportunities for young people to interact with each other, with some great work and with industry icons and leaders. "

The responsibility for the Industry Conclave has been assigned to Swamy and Srivastava is handling the seminars for the event.

de Souza further adds that, "We are planning for Goafest 2011 to attract over 3000 people from all over India and the region. We are hopeful that our new focus will attract a lot of seasoned advertisers too."
