Jishnu Sen bids adieu to Grey India; Lulla to replace!

While we may be a bit late in posting this news, but as an ethical practice, we believe in giving confirmed information rather than ‘sources’ confirmed information’. Hence our efforts to

reach out to the concerned authorities to receive confirmation took us time.

However, it was mid- morning today that Jishnu Sen himself confirmed both this news to Adgully. Both the exit and the entry hold significant importance for the advertising industry as Lulla’s entry may mean change in various policies and thought process that the agency has had over the years and Sen’s exit would make the peers miss him and his policies and thoughts. Though Jishnu’s next step is still unknown but we are assured about his decision and success professionally and personally. Jishnu Sen, President and CEO, Grey India put in his papers and he confirms that Sunil Lulla who silently quit BCCL is all set to join Grey as MD.

For information and records, While Sen joined Grey India, heading Mumbai office, in 2007 and was promoted as the COO of the entire Grey India operation in 2009 and then May 2011, he was promoted as president & CEO; Lulla who recently took charge of President - Corporate Development, Bennett & Coleman Co Ltd, The Times Group was responsible for developing strategy and growth for its music, events, digital and internet businesses. In his 26 years of experience he has worked with media, entertainment, technology and television broadcast industries.
