Let the music begin with The Hindu November Fest!

The Hindu November Fest celebrates its 12^th edition with yet another vibrant line-up of diverse genres and great music.

Naan Ninaad Jugalbandi, a Hindustani classical performance featuring Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan (sitar) and Ustad Rashid Khan (vocal) will fuse tradition with new thinking, melody with harmony and sur (notes) with laya (rhythm). The two ustads have collaborated on and released multiple albums.

They will perform on November 17 at Music Academy, Chennai and November 25 at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad.

Masala Coffee, a contemporary Kerala-based folk & rock band derives its name from a vision to create a blend of all genres of music. The band made its debut in the film industry by scoring the music for Uriyadi (Tamil) and Hello Namaste (Malayalam).

Masala Coffee will perform on November 18 at Music Academy, Chennai.

Chi Udaka, a rich and vibrant Australian production, seamlessly blends a heart-thumping barrage of Taikoz virtuosic drumming with the sinuous beauty of Lingalayam's dance. Steeped in tradition, they will come together with a Bharatanatyam-Taiko fusion, to break new ground at the fest.

The group will perform on November 18 at Chowdiah Memorial Hall, Bengaluru, on November 19 at Music Academy, Chennai and November 26 at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad.

Celebrating Cabaret by the dynamic and highly talented Kakar Sisters will relive this Bollywood genre in power-packed performances at the festival. Akriti Kakar is the voice behind the latest hits such as "Iski Uski" (2 States) and "Saturday, Saturday" (Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya). Sukriti has lent her voice to smash hits such as "Kar Gayi Chull" (Kapoor and Sons), "Pehli Baar" (Dil Dhadakne Do) and "Rustom Vahi" (Rustom); Prakriti has rendered memorable tracks such as "Katra Katra" (Alone) and "Bheeg Loon" (Khamoshiyaan).

The trio will perform on November 20 at Music Academy, Chennai and November 27 at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad.
