LinkedIn Introduces New Home Page Design

LinkedIn introduced a new homepage, redesigned to give professionals an easier way to manage and benefit from their LinkedIn experience. The new home page design is devised to be simple, intuitive and more personalized than before. It includes the brand new ‘Your Dashboard’, which is  the quickest and easiest way to assess how you are one is doing professionally. The dashboard acts as a source of instant feedback on how many people have viewed your profile and how your status fares.  With a single click on the Keep in Touch box you one can reconnect with members, nurturing and expanding their professional connections.

This revamped and clean design promises a more natural and customized experience for LinkedIn members. The new homepage also integrates a brand new addition that opens up profiles to higher education partners with an easy and efficient One-Click program. Through LinkedIn’s Add-to-Profile program, graduates and early professionals can add their academic degrees and certificates directly to the ‘Education’ section of their LinkedIn profiles  by previewing it and just clicking on ‘Save’. On the microsite,  the Add to Profile ‘for Certifications’ option helps to create a distinction between course certifications (e.g. Coursera, Microsoft) from Full Education / Degrees.
