MediaCom's BLINK magazine wins applauds for communications excellence!

MediaCom’s BLINK magazine has picked up a prestigious Gold Quill for excellence in business communications.

The magazine, which has been published by MediaCom since 2008, beat stiff competition to pick up its prize with nearly 800 entries from 13 different countries all competing for recognition.

The magazine is published twice a year, with more than 12,000 copies distributed to key marketing executives around the world via MediaCom’s network of 122 offices. The most recent edition was published in March 2014 and focused on the challenges that marketers face in preparing for the year 2020.

“We’ve worked incredibly hard to make BLINK into a must-read title for our clients and the industry in general. By highlighting the issues they need to know about to be ready for the challenges of a rapidly changing marketing landscape, we’ve demonstrated both MediaCom’s thought leadership and our understanding of the wider marketing environment. We’re thrilled that this has been recognized by a Gold Quill,” said editor Signe Wandler.

“The Gold Quill Award recognizes outstanding work in the communication profession around the world. The evaluators of MediaCom’s entry, BLINK Magazine, described the publication as outstanding – they praised it as being very creative and as demonstrating excellent design, writing and editing skills. The entry scored highly and is deserving of being one of IABC’s Excellence Award winners in 2014,” said Melissa Dark, Director Communication and Member Services at IABC.

The award will be presented in Toronto at the International Association of Business Communicators’ Excellence Gala in June.
