Minari Shah promoted as Director of International for Amazon owned content & channels

Minari Shah has been promoted to Director of International for Amazon's Owned Content & Channels. She initially joined the company as Director of Public Relations and was later promoted to the position of Director of Corporate Communications, APAC.


Minari Shah shared on LinkedIn that her nearly seven years at Amazon in various PR leadership roles in India & Asia Pacific have been fulfilling. She expressed excitement about her new role within Amazon's global communications organization, which focuses on owned media. She is thrilled to be the Director of International for Amazon's Owned Content & Channels team, responsible for EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. Her goal is to develop a strong content and channels strategy across these regions, telling stories that are meaningful to customers, employees, partners, and communities. She sees this as an opportunity to combine her media and communications experience with what she has learned at Amazon to innovate, learn, and collaborate with colleagues in order to create a reliable and authentic source of information about Amazon for all audiences.


 Shah has over 30 years of experience in communication, working in business journalism and corporate communications. She has worked with well-known organizations like Tata Motors, HSBC India, Dell, NCR Corporation, L&T Infotech, Mahindra & Mahindra, Sampark Public Relations, Business India, and Hindu Business Line. Shah also involved in film-writing during her career.
