NewsX and India News gear up to decode Budget 2015

With Budget 2015 all set to roll out in couple of days, all eyes are now on Modi’s maiden Union Budget. Expectations are raising high around the likely ''growth-oriented budget'', as promised by the Modi Government. To decode this much-awaited budget, NewsX and India News line up the most extensive programming, presented by SYSKA Led, namely #Mission 10% and Aapka Paisa/ Budget Vishesh, respectively.

Under this umbrella Budget programming, there will be build up shows on Budget,  special prime time shows, roundtables with experts to discuss and analyze the likely outcomes of the Budget, and small segments all through the day highlighting the wish lists of common men and their expectations from the Government and the finance minister.

NewsX:

Your Budget, Your Expectations, till 25th Feb would highlight the expectations of the common person from the FM and PM.

Mission 10%, Feb 24th-Feb 25: The budget show on prime time, will debate on issues like Growth, Fiscal deficit, Tax, growth and aspirations of the youth with eminent panel of experts.

From 26th-28th February the prime focus will be on the political and economic implications of the Rail Budget and Union budget including Economic Survey.

Along with representatives from different political parties, the eminent panel of experts on the channel will include Shubhashish Gangopadhyay, Former Advisor to PMO; Vivian Fernandes, Senior

Journalist; BB Bhattacharya, Economist; Captain Gopinath, Founder Air Deccan/Industrialist; MK Venu, Senior Journalist; Prashant Kapoor Direct Tax expert, KPMG; and Ashish Gupta – Personal Tax expert, KPMG.

Staring 24th February, the array of special programming on the channel will include:

Ummeed- Small segments, all through the day that will highlight the budget expectations from all strata of the society from housewives to students from industrialists to small vendors.

On 26th Feb, Under the Rail Budget programming, Teri, Meri, Sabki Rail: Pre rail budget special shows which will be a reality check on Indian Railway through the lenses of India News team. There will also be live telecast of Rail budget with Hindi translation from studio followed by live shows/panel discussions on outcome of rail budget.

On 27th Feb, 8pm-10pm- After Economic Survey announcement there will be a 1 hour special show along with a Mega build-up show on Budget.

On 28th Feb, starting 8am, there will be live telecast of budget speech (along with Hindi translation) followed by a debate show from 8-9pm on the budget outcomes.
