PVR awarded the 'Most Admired Retailer of the Year' 2012

The 2012 edition of India Retail Forum, a grand corporate affair organised by IMAGES Group at The Renaissance hotel in Mumbai, culminated recently with the announcement of IMAGES Retail Awards – the most eagerly awaited awards of the modern retail industry in India. While a number of retailers emerged winners in different categories, PVR was awarded Most Admired Retailer of the Year: Entertainment Services. The other cinemas nominated in the same category were Big Cinemas, INOX, PVR, Fun Multiplex, Cinemax, and Fame Cinemas.
 
The eminent jury for the prestigious award included Abheek Singhi from BCG, Abhishek Malhotra from Booz & Co, Anil Rajpal from TCS, Anuj Puri from JLL, Ashwin Puri from Property Zone, Harshvardhan Neotia from Ambuja Realty, Kishore Bhatija from Inorbit Malls, Ramesh Sanka from DLF Ltd, S Raghunandan from Prestige Group, Sushil Mantri from Mantri Square and Amitabh Taneja, Chief Convenor, India Retail Forum. PVR won the award for its Total Annual Sales turnover growth by 23 % in 2012, including 15% growth in Retail Outlets and 35% growth in Retail Space.
