'Shanghai' Screens in 520 UFO Digital Theatres

The new release of the week, ‘Shanghai’ debuts in 520 UFO digital theatres. Dibakar Banerjee’s last release ‘Love, Sex aur Dhokha’, which was India's first film shot entirely on digital camera, screened in 225 unique UFO theatres in week 1 of its release and in week 2, the number had increased to 314, a classic example of how digital cinema allows for flexibility to distributors/producers in the number of screens/geographies that a film can be viewed at.
 
‘Rowdy Rathore’ is going strong in its second week as it screens in 868 UFO digital theatres.  ‘Ishaqzaade’ continues to screen in 31 UFO digital theatres in its fifth week while ‘Department’ is in 14 UFO digital theatres in its fourth week. ‘Manik Baashha Alias Baashha’, a dubbed Hindi film, screens in 15 UFO digital theatres in its third week.
 
Telugu film ‘Yendukante…Premanta’ releases this week in 116 UFO digital theatres.  ‘Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh’ (Telugu) screens in 99 UFO theatres in its fifth week.  ‘Adhinayakudu’ (Telugu) screens in 96 UFO digital theatres in the second week.  ‘Daruvu – Sound of Mass’ (Telugu) screens in 95 UFO digital theatres in the third week.  Bengali film ‘Bikram Singha – the Lion is Back’ screens in 93 UFO digital theatres in its third week.
