The Crayons Network lands big deals with Chola MS and Som Distillers

The Crayons Network, an indigenous integrated agency in India, has secured significant contracts with Chola MS and Som Distillers, marking its position as the official creative partner for these brands. Chola MS, a collaboration between the Murugappa Group and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company Limited, Japan, offers a diverse range of insurance products covering various aspects such as motor, health, property, accident, engineering, liability, marine, travel, and crop insurance. Despite winning the contract in Chennai, The Crayons Network will oversee the execution centrally from its Delhi NCR office. In addition to its work with Chola MS, The Crayons Network has expanded its collaboration with Som Distillers. Having initially secured the account for Woodpecker beer in 2023, the agency's contract has now been extended to encompass all products within the brand's beverages portfolio.

Datar, a representative of The Crayons Network, expressed excitement about the recent wins, highlighting the agency's involvement in social media campaigns and an upcoming main campaign launch for Woodpecker scheduled in 10 days. The agency is now handling creative mandates for various beverages under Som Distillers, including whiskey, single-malt, and beers. Given the nature of the alcohol category, a significant portion of the agency's work is focused on digital and below-the-line (BTL) marketing strategies. Datar emphasized the agency's commitment to delivering innovative and effective creative solutions, citing the development of six conceptually unique films for Chola MS as an example. The Crayons Network is also actively hiring to meet the growing demand for its services, with a particular focus on strengthening its creative and strategy teams. While the agency's core expertise lies in managing government and public sector clients, it is now expanding its recruitment strategy to cater to non-government clients as well.
